Welcome to the website for the Office of Government Sponsored Programs and Research (GSPAR) directed by Dr. Diane Bowles. Our mission is to provide exceptional service in assisting faculty and staff who seek external funding intended to benefit students and the University community-at-large. The GSPAR Office staff is available to assist JCSU faculty and professional staff by serving as an advocate for research and related activities; facilitating a supportive research environment to enhance intellectual discovery, creative problem solving, and the dissemination and application of knowledge; offering superior support services to our stakeholders and customers; and establishing external mutually beneficial collaborations and partnerships.
Our highly qualified staff assists staff in the procurement and administration of government grants and contracts including pre- and post-award services. We can assist with finding federal and state grant or contract opportunities, developing successful proposals for federal, state, and local programs, ensuring proposals comply with the guidelines, developing budgets, and providing administrative support. The most successful grant and contract proposals are those that are developed in collaboration with our office.
If you are interested in pursuing federal, state, and local funding or if you have an idea for programming that will address an identified need that you would like to discuss, please feel free to stop by our office on the third floor in Biddle Hall or contact us.
